By this writ petition, the petitioners seek a direction to the respondent-Collector-Special Land Acquisition Officer to make a reference of the dispute in regard to the apportionment of the compensation between the petitioners and the legal heirs of Yamunabai, to the reference Court under Section 30 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894.

Since the prayer made on behalf of the petitioners is innocuous, we direct the respondent nos.1 and 3 to take appropriate steps in the matter of making a reference to the civil Court under Section 30 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, if permissible, and in accordance with law, within a period of two months.

The writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. With the disposal of the writ petition, C.A.W. ST. No.12912 of 2016 stands disposed of.
