(PER : A.S. CHANDURKAR, J.) RULE. Rule made returnable forthwith and heard the learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner seeks a direction to be issued to the Collector to decide the application dated 16.07.2019 for grant of renewal of leasehold rights that were granted to the petitioner. 3.
The learned counsel for the parties agree that a similar prayer with regard to another petitioner was considered in Writ Petition No.3249 of 2020 and connected writ petition [Ajitkumar Amolakchand Jain Versus The Collector, Gondia] and by judgment dated 15.09.2022, direction was issued to the Collector to decide the lease renewal application.

Hence for the reasons recorded in the aforesaid decision the respondent no.1-Collector is directed to decide the petitioner's application dated 16.07.2019 in the light of observations made in the aforesaid judgment preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of this judgment.

The writ petition is disposed of with aforesaid direction. Rule accordingly. No costs.
