The applicants herein have approached this Court apprehending arrest in respect of FIR dated 04.05.2019. In the FIR, there are 13 persons named as accused but the names of the applicants do not feature amongst them. It is also pointed out that there is a cross FIR of the very same date pertaining to the very same incident registered in Police Station wherein son of the complainant is shown as one of the accused person. It has also come on record that four accused persons have been already released on bail and that the applicant no.1 herein is a practicing advocate while applicant no.2 is a student of LL.B. course appearing for semester examination. In fact, insofar as applicant no.2 is concerned, it is pointed out that he was not at the place where incident took place and he was at that time at a distance of about 75 kms.

Taking the said facts into consideration, this Court by order dated 04.06.2019 had granted ad-interim protection to the applicants.

It is reported to this Court that the applicants have been attending the Police Station as directed by this Court and that they have been cooperating with the investigation.

In view of the above, the present application is allowed and the applicants are granted anticipatory bail in terms of the conditions imposed by order dated 04.06.2019. The applicants shall continue to attend Police Station Karanja City, every Sunday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. till filing of the charge-sheet. JUDGE halwai
