The applicant is arrested on 9th April, 2017 in crime registered against him for the offence punishable under Sections 65(e), 98(c) and 83 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act on the accusation that huge quantity of liquor worth Rs.39,21,400/- is seized from a four wheeler "Bolero" and a two wheeler "Hero Honda" and the applicant is owner of the Bolero vehicle. The application is opposed on the ground that the applicant is a habitual offender and crimes for similar offences are registered against him.
The investigation is complete and charge-sheet is filed. The non-applicant has not been able to point out that custody of the applicant is required for further investigation.
Considering the facts of the case, the

The applicant having been arrested in Crime No.58/2017 registered by the non-applicant, he be released on bail on furnishing cash security of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rs. One Lakh) and two solvent sureties in the like amount.
The application is allowed accordingly.
