DATED : APRIL 28, 2016 The matter is being looked into by this Court since long.

Instead of going into any disputed question or then existence or impact of policy, which assures tenure of five years once tank is allotted to any Cooperative Fishing Society, with consent of contesting parties, we find it appropriate to place the question before Tank Allotment Committee. The Tank Allotment Committee has to consider the issue in terms of communication dated 21/4/2014 (Annexure A-16 at page 71 of petition).

The allotment of Umarda Tank shall

2804wp4034.15 2/2 accordingly be looked into afresh by the said Committee subject to stipulations mentioned supra. The exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from today.

Keeping all rival contentions open, with the aforesaid directions, we dispose of the petition. No costs.
