The petitioner, a student has appeared for first year B.D.S. Examination because of interim protection granted by this Court on 17.06.2016 in this petition. His caste claim is pending with Respondent No. 3 - Committee. 2.

We have heard Shri S.R. Renu, learned counsel for the petitioner, Shri K.S. Malokar, learned counsel for respondent No. 1, Shri Chaube, learned counsel for respondent No. 2 and Shri P. Tembhare, learned AGP for respondent No. 3.

The learned AGP, upon instructions, states that within 15 months, caste claim will be adjudicated. 4.

In this situation, we direct Respondent No. 3 - Committee to complete verification of caste claim within a period of 15 months. Interim protection given by this Court shall continue till then and shall be subject to it.

Needless to mention that, therefore, on going education of the petitioner shall not be disturbed till Respondent No. 3 - Committee adjudicates his caste claim and same shall be subject to same adjudication. 6.

Writ Petition is thus partly allowed and disposed of. However, in the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be no order as to costs.
