IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY

NAGPUR BENCH, NAGPUR Writ Petition No.3194 of 2010 (Pankaj A. Daberao and another v. The State of Maharashtra and others) Office Notes, Memoranda of Coram, appearances, Court's orders or directions Court's or Judge's orders and Registrar's order Shri R.J. Mirza, Advocate for Petitioners.

Shri S.M. Ukey, Additional Government Pleader for Respondents. Coram : R.K. Deshpande & Mrs. Swapna Joshi, JJ. Date : 1 st August, 2017 1.

This petition challenges Clause 9 of the Information Brochure of Preference System for admission to Health Science Courses for 2010. There was no interim order passed by this Court directing admission of the petitioners in the said course. By passage of time, we find that the challenge has become purely academic, and for that purpose, we need not adjudicate the controversy on merits.

One of the prayers in this petition is to direct the Scrutiny Committee to verify the tribe claim of the petitioners. It is informed that the petitioner No.1 got the validity certificate. However, there are no instructions so far as the petitioner No.2 is concerned. In view of this, the grievance of the petitioner No.1 does not at all survive. By this time, we hope that the claim of the petitioner No.2 also must have been decided. However, if the

The petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs. Judge Judge Lanjewar
