Heard Shri A. B. Bambal, learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri A.S. Fulzele, learned Acting GP for the respondents.

The learned AGP, upon instructions, from Respondent No. 2, states that the caste claim of the petitioner will be adjudicated upon within one year. 3.

Shri Bambal, learned counsel states that the petitioner had been admitted against the open seat. 4.

In this situation, with liberty to the petitioner to approach again for appropriate interim relief, if occasion therefor arises, we direct Respondent No. 2 to decide the caste claim as per law in next one year.

Accordingly, writ petition is partly allowed and disposed of. No order as to costs.
