DATE : 12.07.2016 By this writ petition, the petitioner has sought a direction against the respondents to extend the lease period pertaining to the fishing rights in the water reservoir of lower Pusad Project for a period of five years, as per the Government Policy.

Shri Balpande, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents states by referring to the order of the Regional Deputy Commissioner of Fisheries, Amravati Division, Amravati that the lease period is extended till 30.6.2021. It is stated that the grievance of the petitioner should stand redressed, in view of the said order.

In view of the aforesaid, we dispose of the writ petition with no order as to costs.
