This Court has passed a detailed order on 09.02.2024 in dealing with the contentions of the respondents as to the point on which the petitioner's candidature was disqualified which led to drawing of fresh lots in which the respondent no.3 was selected.

The respondent no.3 after selected from fresh draw of lots has withdrawn his consent and is not interested in running LPG dealership.

As a sequel of above, the LPG dealership is open for allotment to other qualified person than the respondent no.3. 5.
In the aforesaid backdrop, we are of the view that the petition can be disposed of with a direction to the respondent nos. 1 and 2 to re-consider the issue about allotment of the dealership in favour of the petitioner in the light of the observations made in the order dated 09.02.2024 and also by treating the present petition as representation.

We expect the respondent nos. 1 and 2 shall take a fresh decision within a period of eight weeks from today. 7.
