2) We have perused the communication issued on 14/05/2024 at Annexure-H, addressed to the respondent No.4, whereby the petitioner's claim to be absorbed on supernumerary post is directed to be considered in accordance with the policy of the Government. We are informed that till this date no steps are taken by the said respondent in accordance with the directions of the Joint Director of Higher Education. 3) Though served, none appears for respondent Nos.3, 4 and 5. That being so, we deem it appropriate to direct the respondent Nos.4 and 5 to decide the claim of the petitioner as was directed by the Joint Director of Higher Education vide communication dated 14/05/2024 for absorption of the services of the petitioner on a supernumerary post as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of four weeks from the date of production of this order.

5) We are constrained to pass the aforesaid order as the claim put forth against the respondents is not controverted by them by putting their appearance and also due to their failure to file affidavit resisting the claim of the petitioner before this Court.
