The appeal is filed by the State of Maharashtra and the Land Acquisition Officer challenging the award passed by the Reference Court granting additional compensation of Rs.9,114/- alongwith statutory benefits to the claimant.

As the appellants have failed to bring on record the legal representative of sole respondent, the appeal is abated. It is dismissed accordingly. No costs. JUDGE Tambaskar.
