The learned A.P.P. has informed that though the Divisional Level Police Complaints Authority has been appointed in terms of Section 22[S] of the Maharashtra Police Act, however, it is not functioning due to absence of the appointed Member.

In view of above, we direct that the State Police Complaints Authority to entertain and decide the complaint of petitioner dated 27.07.2020, as per Section 22[P] of the Act.

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of.
