Petitioner seeks protection in employment in terms of Full Bench judgment of this Court in case of Arun Vishwanath Sonone .vrs. State of Maharashtra and ors (2015 (1) Mh.L.J. 457).

Learned Counsel for respondents point out that the said judgment is recently overruled by the Hon'ble Supreme Court and protection now cannot be granted.

Learned counsel for petitioner however, wants to demonstrate otherwise. He submit that certain relevant judgments were not pressed into service before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

We cannot appreciate the arguments of learned counsel for the petitioner. We accordingly dismiss the writ petition. No costs.
