The petitioner seeks to amend the writ petition in view of subsequent events. The amendment is granted. Same be carried out accordingly. Civil Application is disposed of. Writ Petition No.2019/2023 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that amount of Rs.12,00,000/- (Rupees Twelve Lakhs) was sought to be deposited with the respondent-Society. However, the respondent No.7 through its Secretary did not accept the said amount. The learned counsel submits that amount of Rs.15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakhs) would be deposited in this Court to demonstrate the bonafides of the petitioner. 3.

The learned counsel for respondent No.7 submits that the Society is under liquidation and all the record of the Society has been seized by the Income Tax Department. For that reason the said amount was not accepted.

To consider the bonafides of the petitioner, he is directed to deposit amount of Rs.15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakhs) in this

904-WP-2019-23.odt 2/2 Court by 15/06/2023. Subject to such deposit and showing copy of receipt thereof to the Tahsildar, further auction proceedings shall not be effected.
