The applicant woman aged about 32 years, seeks pre-arrest bail apprehending arrest in crime registered against her and another woman for the offence punishable under Section 420 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code on the accusations that assuring innocent people of getting loan sanctioned from NABARD, the accused collected amount and have not returned it.

According to the Investigating Agency, several persons have been duped by the accused and the investigation till now shows that the accused have duped innocent persons of an amount of about Rs.2,87,000/-.

The application is opposed on the ground that the investigation is in progress and custodial interrogation of the applicant is required.

2 aba380.17 Though the applicant is woman aged about 32 years, considering the nature of accusations and the fact that the investigation is in progress, in my view, the applicant is not entitled for interim protection at this stage. The application is dismissed.
