By this application, the applicant has sought to condone the delay of 117 days in filing the appeal under Section 23 of the Railway Claims Tribunal Act, 1987.

Learned Counsel for the respondent no. 1 objects to the application, on the ground that no sufficient cause is made out.

Having considered the reasons stated in the application, which in my considered view, the reason stated in the para no. 3 constitute sufficient ground. Hence the delay is condoned.
