The applicant is arrested on 30th of April, 2018 in connection with Crime No.188 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 65(A), 83 and 98(C) of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, 1949. The applicant, aged about 28 years, claims to be a businessman. The applicant has stated that he is not involved in any other crime/offence. 3.

Though the application is opposed on the ground that there is ample material against the applicant showing his involvement in the commission of crime/offence, the non-applicant has not been able to point out that further custody of the applicant is required for investigation. Hence, the following order is passed.

ORDER

(I) The applicant, having been arrested in connection with Crime No.188 of 2018 registered by the non-applicant, be released on bail on furnishing cash security of Rs.60,000/-.

(II) The applicant shall attend the trial on every date, unless granted exemption by the Trial Court.
