The petitioner in the contempt petitions alleged non-compliance of the directions issued by this Court on 29.9.2010 in W.P. No. 2897/2010.

The Court has disposed of the said petition on the basis of the statement made by the learned Government Pleader directing that the works be awarded to the Cooperative Societies of the workers in pursuance to the concerned government resolution.

Details are placed on record pointing out therein that the said societies are only entitled for allotment of works which are below fifteen lakhs. It is stated in the affidavit that out of 36 works 13 works have been allotted to the Cooperative Societies of the Labours.
