By this petition, the petitioner challenges the order of the respondent No.1, dated 28/03/2007 and seeks a direction to the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to reinstate the petitioner in service and protect his services in view of the judgment of the Full Bench, reported in 2015 (1) Mh.L.J.

(Arun v.

State of Maharashtra) .

Shri Fulzele, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents, raises a preliminary objection to the tenability of the writ petition. It is stated that the writ petition may not lie before the Nagpur Bench of the Bombay High Court and the petitioner would be required to file a writ petition at the Principal Seat, as the only relief sought by the petitioner is for a direction to the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to reinstate the petitioner in service and protect his services. By upholding the preliminary objection raised by the learned Additional Government Pleader, we decline to entertain the writ petition at the Nagpur Bench. The petitioner is, however, at liberty to file appropriate proceedings at the Principal Seat. The writ petition is disposed of with no order as to costs. JUDGE JUDGE KHUNTE
