The applicant is apprehending arrest in Crime 54/2018 registered at Hudkeshwar Police Station, Nagpur for offence punishable under section 65 and 66 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act.

The contraband, is seized from the premises occupied by the co-accused Parag Pinjarkar. The name of the applicant has surfaced during the interrogation of the co-accused. The applicant has no criminal antecedents in so far as offence punishable under the Maharashtra Prohibition Act. It does not appear from the material on record that custodial interrogation of the applicant would be necessary. The application is allowed. The interim order dated 25.05.2018 is confirmed.

The applicant shall attend Police Station Hudkeshwar, Nagpur as and when required by the Investigating Officer till the filing of the charge-sheet.
