Heard.

The applicant is apprehending arrest in Crime 127/2018 registered at Police Station Bhishi, Tahsil Chimur District Chandrapur for offence punishable under sections 65(e) and 83 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act. Perused the affidavit in reply of the State.

The submission of the learned APP is that there is sufficient material on record to connect the applicant to the crime. The affidavit reveals that there are several offences registered against the applicant under the Maharashtra Prohibition Act.

In the facts of the case and in the backdrop of the prosecutions to the discredit of the applicant, I am not inclined to exercise discretion in favour of the applicant. The application is rejected.
