The Petitioner sought a direction to decide the application dated 10 March 2022, filed by the Petitioner to correct his date of birth. The Petitioner joined the service of the Respondent No.2 on 01 October 2000, and after a period of 20 years that application has been made. The Petitioner's services are governed by the statutory Rules which provides for period of limitation for correction to date of birth. By this writ as sought for the Petitioner is seeking to over ride the limitation. Therefore, we are not inclined to issue the direction as sought for by the Petitioner.

The Writ Petition is accordingly rejected.
