DATED : 22 - 0 6 -201 The applicants are apprehending arrest in Crime 61/2018 for offences punishable under Sections 420, 409, 467, 468 and 471 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation, even according to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor Shri S.S. Doifode is predicated on the alleged failure of the applicants to furnish the original record of the students who obtained the facility of scholarship.

262 students reportedly availed scholarship between 2009 and 2016.

In all fairness, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor states that the statements of 10 students are recorded who have stated that they completed the course, received the original transfer certificates and the

2 aba374.18 scholarship amount. At least at this stage, there does not appear to be a single student from the 262 students who has come forward with a complaint that he did not receive the scholarship amount.

In the light of the accusations and the material on record, this application shall have to be allowed. 6.

The interim order dated 25-5-2018 is confirmed with the modification that the applicants shall attend the Aheri Police Station, District Gadchiroli as and when required by the Investigating Officer.
