Heard Ms. A.D. Warjurkar, learned Counsel for petitioners and Ms. H.N. Prabhu, learned A.G.P. for respondents.

It is not in dispute that matters can be disposed of in terms of the judgment dated 09.07.2018 passed in Writ Petition No. 7295/2017 and other connected matters.

In view of this, for reasons recorded in that judgment, we quash and set aside the show cause

Order 2607wp3036.18 notice dated 22.03.2018 in these matters.

We direct petitioners to appear before respondent no.2 Collector on 10.08.2018. The Collector, shall then proceed further and give them a suitable date for appearance and an opportunity of being heard. The material on record to be used against petitioners shall be looked into by parties and after giving petitioners necessary opportunity, final orders shall be passed within a period of next eight weeks.

It is made clear that petitioners can move an application before the said Authority for issuance of royalty passes and the Collector, shall take a suitable decision on such application, within a period of two weeks after it is filed.

With these directions, we partly allow Writ Petitions and dispose of the same. No costs. JUDGE JUDGE Rgd.
