Heard Shri A.S. Kilor, Advocate for the petitioner. The order passed by the learned Assistant Charity Commissioner rejecting the application praying for condonation of delay of 18 years, 24 years and 29 years in filing the Change Report, is challenged. It is submitted that there is no dispute amongst the trustees of the Public Trust and if the delay is condoned and Change Reports are considered on merits, it will not cause any prejudice to anybody. It is further submitted that the person who was authorized to submit the Change Reports has failed to submit the change reports because of which the inordinate delay has occasioned.

The Assistant Charity Commissioner has considered all the relevant aspects and has rejected the application praying for condonation of delay as the

2 wp4361.16 explanation given by the petitioner is not found to be satisfactory. I do not see any reason to interfere with the impugned order. The petition is dismissed. No costs. JUDGE Tambaskar.
