Shri A.A. Madiwale, learned Assistant Government Pleader waives notices for the respondents. The petitioner is seeking limited relief, which is to the effect that application dated 21-01-2017 (AnnexureB) under Rule 44 of the Bombay Foreign Liquor Rules, 1953 be decided by respondent No.2-Collector as expeditiously as possible.

We see no impediment in directing respondent No.2-Collector to decide the said application as expeditiously as possible and preferably within six weeks of receipt of the order.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
