Mirza, Addl.P.P. for the non-applicant. CORAM : ROHIT B. DEO, J.

DATED : 13-06-2018 The applicant is apprehending arrest in Crime 188/2018 registered for offence punishable under Sections 65(E) and 83 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act.

2.

The applicant is apparently a habitual offender. Between 2016 and 2017 there are seven pending prosecutions under the Maharashtra Prohibition Act. 3.

There is adequate material on record to connect the applicant to the crime. In any event, in view of the antecedents and the prosecutions to the discredit to the applicant, I am not inclined to exercise discretion in favour of the applicant.

4.

The application is rejected.
