Since the petitioners have an efficacious alternate remedy available, this Court is not inclined to exercise its writ jurisdiction. Accordingly, the petition stands dismissed, with liberty to the petitioners to avail the said alternate remedy.

In the event the petitioners prefer an appeal, the concerned authority shall be at liberty to decide the same in accordance with law.
