Apprehending arrest in connection with Crime/FIR No.108 of 2017 registered against the applicant and co-accused Sau. Vanita Amit Meshkar for the offence punishable under Sections 406, 420, 465, 468 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 66 of the Information Technology Act, the applicant has sought prearrest bail. In Criminal Application (ABA) No.410 of 2017 filed by co-accused Sau. Vanita Amit Meshkar, it is recorded that co-accused Sau. Vanita Meshkar and complainant have settled the matter amicably and order passed in favour of Sau. Vanita Meshkar granting interim protection is confirmed. By order passed on 12th June, 2017, the applicant is granted interim protection. The Investigating Agency has not complained that the applicant has not co-operated with it. The non-applicant has not been able to point out that custody of the applicant is required for further investigation.

2 aba394.17 The applicant claims to be a businessman and has stated that he is not involved in any other crime/offence. Considering the facts of the case, order passed by this Court on 12th June, 2017 granting protection to the applicant is confirmed.

The application is allowed accordingly.
