Prayer is to permit the petitioner to withdraw the amount of Rs. 1,12,000/- that has been deposited by the respondent towards arrears of maintenance. Though the request is opposed by learned counsel for the respondent, considering the fact that amount in question is towards arrears of maintenance the application is allowed. The petitioner is permitted to withdraw the aforesaid amount. Application is allowed and disposed. WRIT PETITION NO. 2782 OF 2014: Learned counsel for the respondent states that there is some likelihood of amicable settlement between the parties. Hence stand over to 4 weeks.
