It is demonstrated from the record that the tribe claim of the petitioner for issuance of validity is pending with the Committee since13.06.2023 i.e. almost more than a year. 3.

Notification dated 13.08.2012 mandates that the Committee must decide the tribe/caste claim within a period of three months and in exceptional circumstances, additional two months period can be granted to the Committee.

In the case at hand, already period of more than a year is over. 5.

In this view of the matter, we direct the petitioner to appear before the Committee on 25th July, 2024. The Committee is directed to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner within a period of four weeks thereafter.

With these directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
