The accused is convicted for offence punishable under section 354 and 324 of the Indian Penal Code and section 3(1)(xi) of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities Act, 1989 and is sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for two years.

The sentence is suspended by the learned Sessions Judge.

Considering the duration of the sentence, a case is made out for suspension of sentence.

The substantive sentence is suspended.

The accused shall be released on bail on the same terms and conditions as in the trial Court.
