The petition challenges the order dated 10.05.2024, issued by Respondent No. 1, Education Officer (Secondary). However, during the hearing, the learned Counsel for the petitioners submitted that respondent No. 3 had issued a communication dated 16.08.2024 to the respondent No.1, Education Officer (Secondary), thereby directing him to conduct an enquiry as per the provisions of the Secondary School Code, 1981, and do the needful accordingly. Therefore, he submitted that respondent No.1 be directed to conduct an enquiry within a period of eight weeks, for which the learned Assistant Government Pleader has agreed. 3.

Having considered the same, the petition is disposed of with directions to Respondent No. 1, Education Officer (Secondary), to conduct an enquiry within a period of twelve weeks from today, and then take an appropriate decision on the basis of the said enquiry.
