The applicant is apprehending arrest in Crime 477/2018 registered at Police Station Mul for offence punishable under section 65(a)(e), 83 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act and under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.
At least at this stage, their does not appear any material connecting the applicant with the crime. The vehicle which was used to transport the contraband is not owned by the applicant. The name of the applicant was allegedly revealed during the course of interrogation of the persons apprehended from the spot.
The application is allowed.
In the event of arrest in Crime 477/2018 the applicant be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond of Rs.15,000/- with a solvent surety of the like amount.
aba396.18.O.odt 2 The applicant shall attend Police Station Mul, District Chandrapur every Saturday between 10:00 a.m. to 01:00 p.m. till the charge-sheet is filed.
The applicant shall not tamper with the evidence nor shall the applicant directly or indirectly attempt to influence the witnesses in any manner.
The application is disposed of accordingly.
