DATE : August 10, 2022 The limited request made by the petitioner in the writ petition is for expeditious adjudication of the appeal preferred by the petitioner under Section 14 of the Maharashtra Zilla Parishad District Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1964. On 01/08/2022 the learned Assistant Government Pleader was directed to obtain instructions from the respondent No.1 as to the period within which the said appeal could be decided. On instructions it is submitted that the appeal would be decided expeditiously and preferably by the end of August 2022. Accordingly the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent No.1 to decide the aforesaid appeal on its own merits and in accordance with law by 08/09/2022. No costs.
