By this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner within a time frame. The petitioner also seeks the protection of her education till her tribe claim is decided. Shri Autkar, the learned counsel holding for Mrs.Dangre, the learned counsel for the Scrutiny Committee, states on instructions that the caste claim of the petitioner is pending before the Scrutiny Committee and the Scrutiny Committee would decide the same as early as possible. Since the caste claim of the petitioner is pending and since it is stated on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has served all the respondents, it would be necessary to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the Scrutiny Committee to decide the caste claim of the petition within a specified time.

Hence, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent-Scrutiny Committee to decide the caste claim of the petitioner as early as possible and positively within a period of nine months from the date of

wp3099.14 2/2 appearance of the petitioner before the Scrutiny Committee. The petitioner undertakes to appear before the Scrutiny Committee on 20th of April, 2015. Since the petitioner was not at fault in not producing the caste certificate within the specified time, the education of the petitioner is protected. The concerned respondents are directed to accept the examination form of the petitioner for the ensuing examination and permit the petitioner to appear at the examination and prosecute her studies till her caste claim is decided.

Order accordingly. No order as to costs.
