The applicant is apprehending arrest in Crime 9/2018 registered with the Police Station Mul for offence punishable under section 65(e), 83 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act.
The applicant has no criminal antecedents.
The role of the applicant has surfaced in the statement of the co-accused, who allegedly disclosed that one of the two accused who ran away when the contraband seized from the vehicle was the applicant.
In the light of the accusations and the material on record, I am inclined to allow the application. In the event of arrest in Crime 9/2018 the applicant shall be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond of Rs.15,000/- with a solvent surety of the like amount.
The applicant to appear before the Investigating Agency every Saturday between 10:00 a.m. to 02:00 p.m.

The applicant shall not tamper with the evidence nor shall the applicant directly or indirectly attempt to influence the witnesses in any manner.
