By order dated 14/05/2025 this Court recorded the fact that Campus Disciplinary Committee is conducting an enquiry in the matter and will take immediate decision in the matter. As such specific directions were issued that the enquiry shall be completed on or before 25/05/2025 and the decision shall be communicated to the petitioner immediately on the same day.

Today, counsel for respondent No.2 states that as per the directions of this Court, the Campus Disciplinary Committee conducted and concluded the enquiry on 22/05/2025 and the decision was communicated to the petitioner vide communication dated 23/05/2025. Copy of the communication dated 23/05/2025 addressed to the petitioner is taken on record and marked Annexure-'X' for identification.

Shri Kadu, learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute this factual aspect and states that against the enquiry report/order of the Campus Disciplinary Committee, the petitioner has preferred a statutory appeal under Clause 5.2 of the Symbiosis International (Deemed University) (Redressal of Grievances of Students) Rules, 2023.

In view of aforesaid, the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to prosecute the appeal filed by her before the Competent Authority.

Accordingly the writ petition is permitted to be withdrawn with liberty as prayed. Disposed of as such. No costs. (Pravin S. Patil, J.) Asmita
