Petitioner, a Headmaster working in respondent No.1-aided school claims pay scale of Rs.2200-2700 in terms of Government Resolution dated 14/09/1995. Respondent No.2-Dy. Director of Education has filed a return and in paragraph No.3 stated that respondent No.2 has given direction to employer vide letter dated 18/02/1999 to fix the pay of petitioner as per Government Resolution dated 14/09/1995 and to send that proposal to Senior Auditor, Wardha for necessary approval. This stand is taken on 19/03/1999.

It appears from return filed by respondent No.1 that petitioner was suspended from service on 21/08/1995 and because of orders of this Court in W.P.No.111/1997, he was reinstated on 01/12/1997.

AGP only has appeared for respondent Nos.2,3 and 4. He is relying upon a letter. According to him,

255-WP-2574-98 2/2 grievance of the petitioner might have been redressed by now. In the light of directions issued on 18/02/1999, we find that grievance is rendered infructuous. We accordingly dispose of the writ petition. No order as to costs. JUDGE JUDGE asmita
