NOVEMBER 24, 2025 1) Heard learned counsel for the respective parties. 2) The petitioners are challenging the order dated 24/04/2017 passed by the Sub Divisional Officer, Rajura (SDO), in Appeal No.1/Kul-90/2016-17, whereby the appeal filed by the respondent Nos.1 and 2 came to be dismissed.
3) Learned counsel for the respondent Nos.1 and 2 raised preliminary objection about the maintainability of the petition pointing out that against the order passed by the SDO, the petitioners are having an alternate and equally efficacious remedy to file revision.
4) In view thereof, the present petition is disposed of as not maintainable. No order as to costs.
5) The petitioners are at liberty to file Revision within a period of six weeks from today. The delay caused while prosecuting the present writ petition shall be taken into consideration by the Revisional Authority.

2 07-wp 4495.2017.odt 6) It was further submitted that this Court had granted interim protection to the petitioners on 12/02/2018. The said protection shall continue to operate till the Revision is decided on merits.
