Caste claim of petitioner is admittedly pending. Ms. Kalyani Deshpande, learned A.G.P. submits that Committee will require 8 months' time to decide the caste claim of petitioner.

When Statute gives six months time to produce the validity of caste claim, the request of learned A.G.P. cannot be granted.

We, therefore, direct respondent No.1 - Committee to complete verification of caste claim of petitioner within next six months. Interim orders granted by this Court on 20th June, 2018 to continue till then and shall be subject to it.

Petition is partly allowed and disposed of. No costs.
