The revision filed by the petitioners under Section 154

(1) of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960 came to be rejected on the ground that the petitioners have not complied with the requirement of provisions of sub-section 2A of Section 154 of the Act of 1960 and thereby the petitioners have failed to deposit fifty percent of amount with the respondent no.3-Bank. 2.

On instructions, the learned counsel for the petitioners makes a statement that the petitioners are ready to deposit fifty percent of amount with the respondent no.3-Bank. 3.

In that view of the matter, the order dated 28.03.2023 is hereby quashed and set aside, subject to deposit of fifty percent amount with the respondent no.3-Bank within four weeks from today, as per the provisions of sub-section 2A of Section 154 of the Act of 1960.

It is made clear that any such deposit of amount shall be subject to the result of the revision.
