By this application the petitioner seeks modification of the order dated 23/07/2021 passed in Writ Petition No.8201/2019. By the said order the writ petition was not entertained on merits and liberty was granted to the petitioners to approach the forum under the Insurance Ombudsman Rules, 2017. According to the petitioners they desire to avail other alternate remedy apart from the remedy provided under the Rules of 2017.

Considering the request as made it is clarified that the petitioners are at liberty to avail such alternate remedies as are available in law besides the liberty granted to approach the forum under the Rules of 2017. Civil Application is allowed and disposed of. JUDGE JUDGE Asmita
