DATE : 8TH OCTOBER, 2024 The learned counsel for the petitioners does not dispute the position, that in respect of the claim for subsistence allowance vis-a-vis Writ Petition Nos.3836 and 3837 of 2023, they had approached the Grievance Committee, which had directed payment of 100% subsistence allowance to them, a challenge against which before this Court in Writ Petition Nos.5191 and 5192 of 2023 came to be allowed on 31/07/2024, by setting aside the order of the Grievance Committee dated 06/05/2023. The Court, however, recorded that in the interim a Statute was in place empowering the Grievance Committee to KHUNTE

54-A-wp3836.23+1.odt 2/2 decide the claim of the petitioners, in view of which, it directed the Grievance Committee to decide the grievances of the petitioners expeditiously. In this view of the matter, Writ Petition Nos.3837 & 3836 of 2023 would not be maintainable, as the grievance of the petitioners is already seized of by the Grievance Committee.
