DATE : 08.02.2017 The only prayer made by the petitioner in the instant petition is for a direction against the respondents to extend the benefits of senior pay scale to the petitioner on completion of 12 years of service and also to release the difference of arrears of pension to her.

Shri Mokadam, the learned Counsel for the Municipal Council states that the respondent - Municipal Council had challenged the order of the Commissioner in Writ Petition No.3005/2016 and this Court has, by an order dated 1.2.2017 after dismissing the petition filed by the Municipal Council directed the Municipal Council to release the benefits in favour of the petitioner, within one month from the date of the order, i.e., 1.2.2017.

0802wp4418.15.odt Hence, in terms of the order dated 1.2.2017 in Writ Petition No.3005/2016, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction against the respondent no.1 to release the benefits as directed by the Additional Commissioner in favour of the petitioner, within one month from 1.2.2017.

Order accordingly. No costs.
