We indicated to the learned counsel for the applicant that in view of the settled law inter alia (i) State of Madhya Pradesh v. Laxmi Narayan and others (2019) 5 SCC 688, (ii) Narinder Singh and others v. State of Punjab and another (2014) 6 SCC 466 and (iii) Gian Singh v. State of Punjab and another (2012) 10 SCC 303, it would not be permissible for us to quash the prosecution under Section 376 of the IPC on the ground that the accused and the prosecutrix have arrived at amicable settlement. 2.

The learned counsel for the applicant seeks leave to withdraw the application.
