It is not in dispute that the term of the present body has been extended till 16-10-2022. It is also not in dispute that by the notification issued on 30-9-2022, the roster of seats has been declared. So, now what remains in this petition is of holding of elections for the posts of President and Vice-President of Zilla Parishad, Akola. Since the roster of seats has already been published, in our view, there would be no impediment in holding of elections for the posts of President and Vice-President of Zilla Parishad, Akola. 3.

We expect the respondent No.2 to hold these elections as expeditiously as possible, as it is being done in the case of Zilla Parishad, Nagpur.
