DATE :- 21st JUNE, 2023 The petitioners who are serving as Assistant Teachers at various Zilla Parishad Schools with the Zilla Parishad, Yavatmal are aggrieved by the exclusion of their names from the seniority cum selection list dated 16.06.2023 on the basis of which promotions for the post of 'Head Master' are to be effected. By relying upon the Government Resolution dated 01.08.2019, it is submitted that initially in the seniority list dated 31.05.2023 the names of the petitioners were included. However in the subsequent list dated 16.06.2023 that is now being considered by the Zilla Parishad for promotion on the post of 'Head Master,' the names of the petitioners have not been included therein.

We find that the petitioners have not yet made request to the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Yavatmal, for inclusion of their names in the seniority cum selection list to enable the Chief Executive Officer, to consider the names of the petitioners for promotion on the post of 'Head Master'.

Hence liberty is granted to the petitioners to make representation to the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Yavatmal for inclusion of their names in the seniority cum selection list. If such

923-WP-3805-23.odt 2 representation is made by the petitioners within a period of one week from today, the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Yavatmal, shall consider the same and take a decision thereon within a period of 10 days of receiving such representation.

Keeping the points raised in the writ petition open, the same is disposed of. No costs.
