Heard Mr R.K. Maheshwari, learned counsel appointed under the legal aid scheme to appear on behalf of the applicant and Ms M.A. Barabde, learned APP for the respondents-State.

The learned APP, on instructions, states that the applicant in this case has already expired. If this is so, then obviously the grievances in this petition have been rendered infructuous.

By recording the statement of the learned APP, we dispose of this petition as infructuous. But before we do so, we express our gratitude to Mr. R.K. Maheshwari, learned counsel appointed to appear on behalf of the applicant under the legal aid scheme. We also quantify fees of Rs.1,500/-. The death certificate in respect of the applicant is handed over by the learned APP, the same is kept on record.
